The next Hamburg show question

On the website for Northern Berks Reptile show it has 2 dates for reptile shows. The next one is Sept 8th but I see some breeders showing different dates Oct 20th for example.
Is the show Sept 8th not that big? Is there a different EXPO host other than Northern Berks?
Also did the (Repticon) South Carolina show change? I swore I saw the next date in OCT but when I checked back a month later it is now November.
Just trying to figure out what is going on before I make hotel reservations and all. What are the next BIG HOT shows in the next 3 months that is a must attended?
Thanks

I think I found my answer for Hamburg
One is called Northern Berks reptile show and there is another called Northwestern Berks reptile show and sale.
UMMMM! OK! I have visions of Coke and Generic Coke. (In other words a copy cat, probably not the case and there probably is difference but to me who doesn’t know it seems like someone is trying to look like the other)
So is the Sept 8th show any good?
How about Repticon Nov?

Scott, the October Hamburg Show is usually considered to be a better show than the September one. Many of the vendors will have young of the year available.
As far as the Columbia Show, that will be in November, and will probably be the best SC show of the year. Many of the vendors at that show will have young of the year available.
Hope this helps.
Best Regards

Thanks John,
I'll wait till October and November and skip the painful drive in SEPT.
Are those the top 2 HOT shows on the east coast that are left? (I know there probably are a few more but I'm guessing these are the top 2, is there a 3rd?)

Scott, yep, those two fall shows are probably the best on the East Coast, and the spring versions of both are also very good shows.
Shows at other times of the year, and in other towns, are hit or miss. Sometimes the other shows are good, and the vendors often bring in quality animals to summer shows, but at many shows, there is noting special available.
If you are looking for something particular, you should let vendors know in advance, so that they can bring it to some of the smaller shows. They often have high end animals availabe that they leave at home just because they do not want to stress the animals by taking them to a show, if they think there will not be a buyer for them at that show.
The Repticon folks do a great job of advertising, and bringing in people to the shows, and the vendors tables are usually sold out way in advance.
If I had to pick 4 must-attend Reptile Shows, the Spring and Fall Columbia and Hamburg would be the ones.
Best Regards
JohnZ

Hey John,
Do you have more information about the November Colmbbia show (like which weekend is it)? I want to go ahead and plan on being there before my calendar fills up (which it tends to do quickly during the fall semester).
Thanks!
