You'll get equal support on both sides. You didn't mention what species/genus you are talking about and that could have a significant impact on success. In general, it seems that most breeders keep their breeders separated except during the breeding season. For my rattlers, I keep them communally year round including brumation and they've done well but that's just me. When I breed my eastern indigos and black headed pythons, they stay separated except for breeding introductions so there are many factors. Give us some more detailed info and questions.
