50% of the questions I ask are referred to Goolge or some other website. Google is not technical enough and goes into little detail. The others are very technical. Too much so for me. I want some real time answers from experts, not to be sent to a useless website. I think what the problem is, there are only 2 or 3 real experts on this site. I am not trying to be harsh or critical, only truthful. Anyway, this forum is called "Ask the Experts". JCD

Record lengths:
Ophiophagus hannah - 19 feet, 2 inches
Dendroaspis polylepis - 4.5 meters = 14 feet, 9 inches
Good enough?

You're kidding, right?
Some questions are best suited for "Google".
Record lengths? Google
Reptiles and radiation? ???
How do people feel about Steve Irwin's handling techniques? ???
Why are you trying to stir the pot here?
The last time I saw questions like yours were from some "rabbits" guy that went to war with Karl and then just disappeared.
Seriously, most of your questions seem like very basic Google-type questions that most of the "experts" here probably don't bother with because they feel like just about anyone could Google the answer.

To tell you the truth, I just like typing in questions and seeing what kind of answers I will get.

That is the whole problem Puma, your questions are a game for you.
While some here might take the time to answer them if they feel that the information will be usefull to other site visitors, many of them could have been easily answered by a tiny bit of research on your own.
Folks here are mostly working, and sometimes take a bit of time to answer question because they enjoy helping folks. But as Littlesnakedaddy pointed out, when you are too lazy to do your own research, and it is a game for you, you become a bit of a nuisance, and so start to remind us of rabbit-boy or some of the other trolls who have frequented the site in the past.

To be truthful, people in this forum tend to answer questions that they are comfortable with.
Nobody wants to answer questions when their answer may be challenged by someone who may have "newer" information. Many questions are actually appropriate for google. "Fact" questions like longest snake, etc will be easily found there.
Questions like Steve Irwin's handling techniques, radiation's effects on reptiles, etc., that ask for opinions, have no correct answer and often lead to name-calling debates.
If your questions are not drawing the answers you expect, try the search engine in this forum and see if it has already been beaten to death.

I seldom answer questions anymore, too many know it all bone heads out there and I have no time to deal with it. To sum it up:
If I want to hear from an asshole, I'll just fart!

Funny thing about that is, it's usually no it alls that have been keeping hots for a very limited time, or people that get all their info from watching Animal Planet programs.
