Thanks a bunch for everyone's suggestion on the types of rattlers we should bring. After careful thought and consideration, here's what we are planning on bringing:
- Eastern Massasauga
- Timber
- EDB
- WDB
- C. simus (formerly durissus)
- Speckled
- Tiger and a Black tail in communal exhibit
- and last, but certainly not least, willardi
- we're also hoping to bring a gila monster but we'll see if we have space
I wish we had more space to show some other equally impressive rattlers like our klauberi, vegrandis, xanthic culminatus which is a show stopper, and our abyssus but anyone in the Chi-town area is welcome to come and visit any time and you can see all of our elapidsd and other exotics as well.
The folks from the St. Louis Herp. Society will be joining us with a great exhibit of elapids; primarily cobras so we should have a real nice display.
Hope to see some of you at the show; it's a great time.
