I can't find it now but I saw a news item on the site a couple days ago about a 63 year old lady in Chino Valley Az who died from a Mojave bite . At first I wondered why the snake was out when it should have been underground , but this whole area has gone boomtown , construction EVERY where , maybe this snake lost it's winter hideout . Of course local law enforcement went out , found a snake and killed it .

That story was pretty big here in AZ, i heard that when the law enforcement/ animal control came out, the snake was already killed, with a knife pinning it to the ground. So, the question is was she bitten trying to kill it, or did someone else kill it after she was bitten? Either way, the snake didn't deserve to die.
