The Georgia Herpetological Society's Georgia Reptile Expo is this weekend.
It is being held at the North Atlanta Trade Center.
Once again, Johnny Hester and Mark Patterson (and I) will be there with Johnny's and Mark's wonderful displays of native Georgia reptiles, both venomous and nonvenomous.
Several venomousreptiles.org site members usually show up and there is always lots to see.
Stop by if you happen to be in the Atlanta area this weekend.
Just so that there is no misunderstanding, this is NOT a venomous show (although native venomous will be displayed) and venomous reptiles will not be there to be sold.

For those who didn't make it - you missed a great show.
Stephanie and Mark put on a very interesting show with a wide variety of animals being offered from some quality vendors.
Johnny's exhibits of native venomous were, as usual, outstanding. Coupled with Mark's array of native non-venomous snakes, turtles, salamanders, etc, it was one of the most educational displays you will ever see. Add to that Johnny's passionate explanations of the information about any animal on display and you have an exceptional exhibit.
There were several other SHHS members there, either walking around or exhibiting animals.
Vendors had a wonderful variety of animals for sale like South American Caiman Lizards, lots of Asian Rat Snakes of various subspecies, Poison Dart Frogs, there were geckos from every habitat you can think of (and a few you probably haven't thought of) as well as locality specific Rosy Boas (always a special treat) and many others.
I spent 11 hours on the road (5 and 1/2 hours one way) and about 6 hours at the show. It was worth it to get to spend time with good friends and see some of the animals displayed.
I can honestly say that the three shows that I feel are "must attends" on the East Coast (for me, at least) are Daytona (nonvenomous), Columbia (Fall venomous), and the Georgia Herp Society Expo (nonvenomous).
Maybe next year The Boss will be able to attend them with me.
