Has anyone done any business with DTS Herps Inc out of Boca Raton, FL.
I am considering a 'hot' purchase from them... but would like any info I can get before that. I am kinda leary of purchasing animals online sight unseen.

I've received some nice animals from Dan. Like anything, any time you are purchasing an imported, w/c animal you are taking a chance so if that's what you are getting:
- quarantine, quarantine, quarantine
- run fecals
- run a blood panel
- and Caveat Emptor!
The imported animals I have received in the past were well represented. He seems to have good quality animals and I wouldn't have any problems ordering from him again.

I can't belive I am doing this because I had some issues with a deal with dan where I sold him an animal and the deal went south BUT!!!!! he seemed to me to be a very upfront guy he also had a awesome collection of rare animals which he sent me lots of apprieciated pics of! everything looked perfect.also a good friend of mine has bought a few animals from him and he was real happy with what he recieved. everything was packed well described well and in perfect health as described.would I hesitate to buy from dan NO. as a matter of fact I have been thinking of getting in contact with him lately to try to get past our little disagreement just my .02

Thanks to all who responded.... I was advised that IF I wanted to make my trip in the spring to photograph wolves... I better not buy any more snakes.... So its gonna have to hold off for a little while.
I MUST put fulfilling a dream before more critters.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Ray Hunter this week and he didn't let me down. I called him about several snakes, two Malayans and a Boomslang. Within 15 hrs the snakes were in my collection and looking good....

After further examination of the snakes I see the Boomslang is in terrible condition with a respritory issue and a nose run to the extent that I can see inside his nasal cavity. The Malayans are extremely thin but hopefully I can get them to eat.
