		    | I have never had a copperhead that would eat all the way through Winter, whether I kept them at warm temps or not. The longest period that I have had an Agkistrodon go without eating was from Sept 9 - Apr 4. I should also mention that the same snake, a female from Dublin, GA, had 28 babies in a single litter 2 years later. According to Mark O'Shea, that is a tie for the known world record. |
