If you do not already know there is a lunar eclispe in the eastern sky around 10:01 p.m. eastern. 9:01 p.m. central, 8:01 p.m. mountain, 7:01 p.m. western. It is on Wednesday, February 20, 2008. Its a once in a long time memorable events to see if you get the chance.

I was out banding owls last night. I saw the whole thing from start to finish. The rings of Saturn were also visible through a spotting scope. Very neat. The woods were absolutely silent (other than two species of calling frog)until about midnight. Once the eclipse was gone it was like daylight and the evening exploded with activity.

NASA listed the time of the Eclipse wrong on their website by an hour. LOL !
Wonder if they know of something called daylight savings time?
Good thing we let the Navy shoot down that spy bird, and not NASA !

Looked about right to me. Most of the times I've seen listed were for the beginning and end of totality, not of the eclipse, which has led to some confusion...
