Green Mambas hunt for their prey. they use their neurotoxic venom to imobilise there prey. they they open their jaws and dislocate thir mouths to the correct position to swallow the prey then they use ther fangs and teech to make a 'walk' like motion which each time pulls the prey thurther into the snake's mouth this can take a up to an hour to complete the feeding process. after finishing their meal they silther away and rest to let their meal go down.
hope this helps

Not a bad reply from a 12 year old. I typically don't say "dislocate" when referring to the snake's capacity to swallow large prey but I know what you are getting at. Also, it's very rare for a mamba to take an hour to feed - our mambas finish off prey w/in 2-3 minutes (sometimes much faster). For smaller prey, they'll strike and hold, for larger prey, they'll make a few quick rapid strikes and let the neurotoxic venom do the rest. Hope that helps.
