WOW, what a story…seems like he broke laws, but you still have to feel sorry for the guy being in the hospital having fingers amputated after somebody pointed their finger at him.

A Taylor County man is facing 25 counts of illegally importing wildlife into Kentucky and possessing inherently dangerous animals after Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources conservation officers discovered venomous snakes and alligators at his Campbellsville home Friday.
Freddy Stone, 36, is charged with 15 counts of transporting wildlife into Kentucky without a transportation permit and 10 counts of possessing inherently dangerous animals.
Police seized six western diamondback rattlesnakes, a gaboon viper, a king cobra, a timber rattlesnake, an iguana, two monitor lizards, two alligators, a boa constrictor and a python from Stone's Mt. Carmel Church Road residence.
Stone was not home during the search and seizure that resulted from a tip, and Stone's wife told officers he was in a Louisville hospital having fingers amputated after suffering a snakebite.
Officers then spoke with Stone by phone, and he claimed ownership of the illegal species.
Stone is scheduled to appear in Taylor District Court April 14.

I feel empithetic for anyone getting hurt by an animal BUT,,,, If he is iresponsible enough to illeagaly have these animals I question his being responsilbe period.
Please obey all laws pertaining to wildlife. Otherwise stupid, irresponsible decisions will ruin it for those who are responsible and law abiding.. Shelby

Campbellsville, KY Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife conservation officers arrested a Taylor County man Friday who was already facing 25 counts of illegally importing wildlife into Kentucky and possessing inherently dangerous animals, and charged him and his wife each with four counts of wanton endangerment and possession of a controlled substance.
36-year-old Freddy Stone and his wife, 37-year-old Amy, were lodged in the Taylor County Regional Jail under $50,000 cash bond each. Officers also arrested 31-year-old Carl Harris of Campbellsville, and charged him with possessing a controlled substance, possessing drug paraphernalia and interfering or obstructing an investigation.
The officers returned to the Stone residence with arrest warrants for the Stones, who allegedly kept six western diamondback rattlesnakes, a cobra, a gaboon viper, a timber rattlesnake and two alligators inside their residence. Their four children, ages 2 through 11, also stayed in the residence.
That's when the officers say discovered what appeared to be a quantity of a controlled substance and about $10,000 in cash. Officers also seized a 2006 Dodge extended cab pickup truck during the raid.
The Stones were scheduled to be arraigned in Taylor District Court Monday, April 14 on the previous charges.
