Md. snake-seller caught with rattlers, copperheads
The Associated Press
WINDSOR MILL
A 47-year-old Windsor Mill man is charged with possession of 10 copperheads, four eastern hog-nosed snakes and one timber rattlesnake.
Maryland Natural Resources Police received a report that Steve Clagett was trying to sell copperhead snakes.
The copperheads and the rattlesnake are venomous but the eastern hog-nosed snakes are not poisonous.
Authorities said Clagett was charged Wednesday after the snakes were found during the investigation. Some snakes were at Clagett's apartment in Hannah Court and the other snakes were in his car.
Clagett is scheduled for an appearance Oct. 16 in Baltimore County District Court.

Interesting, I wonder if that Timber was an actual MD locality, or if it was a VA or KY he had picked up from somewhere. If anyone from that area is following this, try to find out if that was a MD snake and what DNR has planned for it.

This clown was at Hamburg last weekend trying to sell copperheads and bragging about being busted. I tried for 5 minutes to explain laws regarding native and protected species and he just didn't get it.
