I watched about half of that one. After four minutes they said "nice shed", and something about thinking the snake was in bad shape BEFORE they helped it? They are simultaneously poster children for animal keeping legislation and selective breeding.

i like the part where they say no other keeper would do this for a venomous snake they kept. did anyone notice the blood on the table from them pushing on the head so hard they pushed the fang through the bottom jaw ? he says its not blood from the snake its rat blood and venom. but the blood is not there before the snake's head is and its there after.

RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You know, if you'd just SOAK that frickin' snake in and inch of water for about an hour, and put it in a box with a natural rock (cleaned of course), it should be able to shed on its own. And even if it doesn't, you can TUBE the snake, and pick off most of the shed with either long tweezers or hemostats. PINNING the snake's head is NOT the way to do that!!! Nothing stresses a captive snake like pinning its head. That video should be called, "How Amateurs Get Bitten 101".

I really don't care for they're videos that much , and they said only one thing in that entire video that was true . The part where he says and i quote : " No other owner would do this for their animal " . Well they are right . No other owner would put their animal under that much stress , or abuse , Then after all the pick'n and poke'n , they decide to probe the poor thing .
Everyone is entitled to own them as long as they follow local and state laws ect ....... But i really wouldn't like seeing these guys with a ball python . Not rag'n on them but really , The did nothing but harm that snake throughout the entire vid . i know my copperhead would never stand for any of that .

Muffy and his Clone are going to get someone killed.
There is no doubt that they will get bitten, if they keep messing with copperheads like they did on the video.
They came mighty close to being bitten while filming that video on more than one occasion.
The poor old stressed out copperhead actually put one of it's fangs through it's lower jaw in an effort to bite the guy who had his hand under and on top of its head.
I honestly do not care if they get bitten, as it is inevitable. And a good bite just might knock some sense into their thick skulls.
Heck, I might even look for a Black Mamba with a stuck shed to send to them so they can film themselves helping it loosen the stuck skin. That might be fun to watch..........
What bothers me most though, is that some kid will go to Hamburg, and some uncaring dealer will sell them an Western Diamondback Rattlesnake, or Gaboon, and that kid will try what muffy was doing when the snake does not shed well. And that kid is going to get bitten by a very bad snake.
The nitwhits out there keep rating muffy's videos really high. I truely hope that young folks who are thinking of getting into venomus keeping will not listen to muffy and clone, and will come here for advise. It might save their lives.
Best Regards John Z
