The account I heard on radio news blurb was that he had been bitten multiple times. I immediately thought.."No way". The press more often than not get stories like this wrong.

Would you be Jaded against the Army if we were under serious attack, which is not an impossible threat. I love the people that are Jaded against the Military until the Chinese land on our beaches killing us by the thousands and then the tree hugging liberals will be the first running, screamming, and begging the Military to save them....

I have great respect for our military.
However, the official press release on the Army news site has changed over the last few days.
One has to wonder if there is not more to this story.
There are some folks in the Army who do not mind fabricating stories, if it suits their needs. I can remember one Army Command Sergeant Major, who was very well known for that........
An investigation by someone outside of the Army, say the State M.E., would seem to be warrented in this case.

Collin, just how are all of those invading Chinese going to get here to invade our beaches ? They are not well known for having troop transport ships, or transport planes.
Actually, if they landed in California, it might be a good thing. But I digress.......
We should be a lot more concerned about the ONGOING invasion of our Southern Border, and the Mexification of this Country !

Cro, that is not my point on how they get here. it is the fact that people like that guy bust on our troops that make this country safe. Every American Liberal I know cries until they are the ones hit hard and then it's, please help me military. P.S Don't be nieve to the power of other country's. Do you honestly think if we had no Army that the Chinese or any other country wouldn't be here in a wink taking over. When I here anyone bash the Army or any other branch of service it's makes me want to do a double leg take down, straight to a cradle and then bash their face in.

As I mentioned, that other Country is allready taking over in a wink. They send thousands of invaders over our Southern border every day. And our Military is not doing anything about it.
The US Census says Hispanics will make up 29% of the U.S. population in 2050. I think that is an under -estimation. It is already over that level in many Southern States. I have seen other studies, that took into count all of the undocumented folks, and they are projecting more like 40%.
We need to put Army Bases along out borders, and do what almost all other Countries do, guard the borders with the Military. What good is a Military, if you do not use it to stop the invasion ?
The US Immigration Services have no way of controlling the situation.
I am really concerned that some folks in the Government are letting this happen, because their grand plan is to unite Mexico, the USA, and Canada, into a borderless Union, much like the European Union.

So...just because I think that the military is not run as it should be I'm a tree hugging Liberal? I tire of that particular slanderous title. I think of myself as more of a progressive. Perhaps because I don't agree with the way a particular administration is run I am an unamerican Muslim (My skin and hair are a little dark...) and I should just leave.
I certainly have no problem with the men and women who make sacrifices in uniform to serve this country. I simply think that our military as a whole needs an overhaul. I can point to several specific examples, but this is a reptile forum, not a political one. Oh, and by the way, don't presume that a uniform is a prerequisite for serving this country. I tried that route and it didn't work (a long story, and thus the jaded comment), so I had to find other ways to support my community.

If you were insulted by my comment, then you looked WAY too far into it. I was making a concession because Karl made a good point.
Collin,
If you feel the need to act in violence against me because you disagree with me then go ahead. Violence like that rarely solves anything. And somewhere along the way you'll find 'tree hugging liberal' who can defend himself (which is, incidently, just what I would do if the 'Chinese' invaded. Fight with my fellow Americans to defend this imperfect, but wonderful, country).

Unfortunately, and maybe not you but Liberals would do just that. Get rid of our military or cut it way back and then we would all have to line up and fight. One thing for sure; I knew you were not in the military because NO military man or woman would ever criticizes them in any way, period
Liberals-
#1 Hate America
#2 believe in aborting babies
#3 most don't believe in God
#4 jelous or loathe our fine military who gies them the freedom to BURN our flag.
