Folks, there is no need to spiral downward into ridiculing.
The post about venomous in California was on the money though.
Permits there are almost as difficult to get as they are in Georgia. Bear in mind that this site does not condone the illegal keeping of venomous snakes.

Yea sorry, I usually keep most of my smart a## comments to myself. I have been in a particularly sarcastic mood due to a combination of sleep deprivation and sinus infection.

This thread reminded me of the page in the B-52-1 manual that said (with apologies for the paraphrase) "Read this manual carefully before attempting to operate the Boeing B-52."

Several posts appeared between the time I read this thread and the time I posted my comment. No offense was intended, but the basic thrust of my comment remains the same.
Doesn't anyone have a sense of humor any more?

Enough. I think I'll go watch Tombstone. Or the Smothers Brothers (showing my age). Or, maybe, I'll just go down and watch something in my snake room. Best of all!

King cobras in California? Sound familiar Karl? But seriously though, allow me to "bust out" with my keen insight and genius Ohiophagus husbandry skills: 1; they eat other snakes, 2; they are potentially dangerous, 3; they are pretty, 4;they are smart.
