Just wanted to say thanks. I'm over half way though all the threads and have picked up a lot of useful info.
I also have learned a lot from Viperkeeper's youtube videos. Keep those videos coming, Al! I bought his 2009 calendar and it's gorgeous and he has great pictures at www.deadlybeautiful.com.
LarryDFishel has some great photos and snake handling equipment ideas on his http://www.madprogrammer.com/snakes/ website. Please add more content!
I've got a copy of BW Smith's Venomous Snakes in Captivity: Safety and Husbandry
and got a lot out of reading it.
I saw mention of Venom 101 in some old posts but haven't found it. Can anyone help me find a copy?
If anyone can suggest any other useful websites besides kingsnake, please let me know. I am already keeping a list of all the snakebite protocol websites mentioned in this forum so I have those covered.
I'm a long way from keeping a hot myself but I would like to learn more about it in case I decide to give it a try in a few years... after I have found a mentor to work with and moved to a better place to keep hots. It's illegal to keep them in my city and I wouldn't keep them in a multiple unit condo building anyway.

Mark,
If you click on the red "VenomousReptiles.org Home" that is at the top left part of this page, you will find other hidden areas that are not part of Experts, and not part of the main website anymore.
Several of those sub-sections have excellent information that is worth reading.

Yes, I've browsed most of the sub sections on the whole site. I just never had found Venom 101. Thanks to Chris for posting the link to it. And thanks to you too, John, I've read a lot of good posts from you and too many other people to list.
