People tend to think I am joking when I say my snakes throw literal hissy fits if i don't stick to my scheduals. They both refused anythin last week so i figured this week i'd go ahead an skip see what happens.
Well I dunno what got into them, but they absoluetly wrecked their setups decore lol. Its like they went to great lengths to make sure i knew they were not happy or that somethin was goin on.
Lately when I go back into the reptile room to check on them, my females up around the basking area coiled him, an my male is in the hide, well when i noticed how they had destoryed the cage, they where both face to face.

I think they had a breeding session. Most snakes when they breed inside an enclosure will disturb cage furniture, etc. I have bred Bushmasters and they tore the whole exhibit up. Looked like a tornado went through it!
I suspect there is some Fall breeding going on if you snakes are mature to breed.

Right now, the "Fall Crawl" is taking place in the canes territory. They are trying to get their last meals in before Winter hits. This is brought on by factors we don't totally understand. They seem to know even when they are blocked off from natural light cycles, natural temperatures and humidity. Somehow........they just know.
