hi everyone, this is not about hots but it is about my juvinile corn snakes. some of you might have known my bearded dragon died recently for unknown reasons. he had a large cage and the snakes were getting too big for their own cage so i disinfected my beardies cage and moved them in. (if anyone would like to see some pictures of them just tell me and ill upload them to the website and tell you when they have been posted and give you a link). does anyone have any suggestions that i can use to log there life as i just downloaded a version of metzcal which is a bit like the one on proherp.com(forgot what it was called)

Andrew, I would start simple with the record keeping.
If you try to make it too detailed, you will probably find it more difficult to keep up with over time.
Feeding records are good, as are length and weight mesurments, as well as shedding records. Also, any observations on behavior would be good, as well as any medical issues. Things like breeding, and differences in the coloration and markings of individual snakes is also important. Any medical treatments need to be recorded.
I do not believe in keeping detailed records of everytime a snake takes a dump, as it just seems excessive to me, Unless, there is a change that is seen that would suggest an illness or parasites, etc.
If something like that happens, then you should probably start recording that.
Hope this helps.
Best Regards John Z
