I had a clutch of 20 gabbs what is the best approach for first feeding. Do they prefer rat pinks, mouse fuzzies, live or fresh killed? How hot to keep them how often to soak? Any info is appreciated it's my first gabby clutch, thanks again. Taylor

I think you should try them with f/t rat pinks. You will most likely have problems with the males only. They may require tease feeding. Soak for about 10 min at ambient temp.
I know they are very cute but refrain from kissing them please ;-)
Good luck,
Al

I'm not an expert, but this is actually one I can help with. I thought due to the size and veracious appetite my babies would have been extremely easy to start feeding for neonates. This wasn't exactly the case. What I found is you need to put them all in a separate containers and get a bunch a small Tupperware’s for hide boxes and make sure they are a dark color or spray paint them black. The snakes will immediately take cover in them and with that security will start feeding relatively easy after they have adjusted.

Agreed Ian,
Not many snakes will feed if they feel exposed or vulnerable. It is essential that you limit as many stress factors as you possibly can, and keeping 1 snake to each cage, with good cover is often times the only way to go.
