A friend sent me a scan of a news article that I've copied to my profile pic. Supposed to be a clipping from the Arizona Gazzette (sic -- if the newspaper name is misspelled that's a tipoff) that an 8'10" western diamondback was killed on Oct 26, 2008. Aside from the misspelling, the photo shows the snake held in the classic foreground position to throw off proportion while if it is actually that big you can't hold it like that. I just wondered if this article is a new gag or the same old, with the dates changed to trick the innocent.

Ya, it's a new gag. If you look at the snake it's actually the same snake as in the last 9 footer 50 pound one that has been running around for the last couple of years. Just a new guy and backround photoshopped in.
Also, ASUcentral doesn't exist and the biggest tipof is the authors name.
