Hmm, the 1st article said bitten, this one claims he was pricked. Reminds me of a bad joke, (what is the difference between BMW and porcupine?)

A man is being taken to hospital in Adelaide after pricking his hand on a fang from a Taipan snake.
The man was cleaning the taipan's cage at a venom miking farm at Marananga in the Barossa Valley when he came into contact with the fang.
The company, Venom Suppliers, is uncertain if a loose fang can transfer venom.
The snake species is among the most dangerous in the world

A MAN has been bitten by a deadly taipan snake at a serum laboratory in Tanunda.
Paramedics are racing to Venom Supplies Pty Ltd, where the man, 20, was bitten while "milking" the snake for venom.
The man was given anti-venine and is currently in a stable condition.
