I came across this snake info today and found it intresting. Has anyone else heard of this snake or actually seen one. Hears what I read about them on the PetClub UK website:
Dwarf Burmese Pythons are as of yet, not recognised as a separate subspecies of Python molurus . They were exported from their native island in 2002/2003 in small numbers, and have since been bred in captivity as pure dwarfs and crosses with the larger colour morphs of the burmese python. As wild specimens they are quite aggressive, however tame down with time and regular interaction. Captive bred individuals are far easier to maintain, feed readily and tame down with ease. Although high in price at the moment, in time the price will come down and these will make far better pet snakes than their extremely large cousins.

Sure Have a person actually hatched some in the states this year. Tend to be aggresive but a nice looking animal. They look a bit different then a normal burm.
I was looking at a pair about 2 months ago.
