Hey Guys,
I got some pictures of our newest rack.
This one has 6 tubs that are about 32 qt.
It's made of 3/4" particle board with a water seal.
The rack is pictures in my profile picture.
Let me know what you think?
Thanks,
Jon Short

It looks very nice but I'd be concerned with the material. Is it made out of particle board?
That is likely to swell if exposed to moisture and if there are water bowls in the tubs it's going to happen.
Also particle board is heavy as all get out.If you substitute
plywood and seal it with a non toxic paint I think it would be lighter and last longer.
The craftmanship looks great, it's just the material I question.

We sealed it and then tested it and then tested it again. It's not affected at all by direct water or by humidity.

I should have known that. Now I remember that the cages you made were,
it would only make sense that the racks are too.
Good job!

Andy, this is off-topic, but I happened to click your profile link and saw that incredible photo of the Moron of the Month (Oct. 2008) holding the giant atrox he had killed. It was hard to read the type, but does it say "8 ft. 11 in."? That has to put this guy on par with the largest C.adamanteus, if not a bit ahead, and it's been a long time since I've heard of an authenticated wild EDB over 8 ft. What a tragedy that this human cloaca found it instead of someone else. So, he didn't want it roaming around near his campsite? I'm sure the snake didn't want him camping around its homesite. Such people should just stay indoors.

Fred, it is a large rattlesnake, but that photo has been photoshopped from a previous photo, and the critter was nowhere as big as was claimed.

That photo is up on a bulletin board at work, and one of the other fake photo shopped pics of the same snake is right next to it. Its funny how many people believe that crap. I had to point out to them, that First, the snake in both photos is identical. An 8' 10 " wdb would weigh in at 30 to 50# and there is no way either one of those guys in the pictures could hold that large of a snake on 40" tongs leisurely , like that. Not to mention tongs don't open up wide enough to grab a snake of that size. And finally, that is not an Arizona specimen of WDB, it is most likely from Texas, or Oklahoma.
