I made a video about it a while back an honestly it disturbs me the number of people who think that whats dipicted in the video above is correct husbandry!
I am not against feeding live, however i am against Tying an LIVE feeder animal to the back of a dead feeder animal so it can be consumed ALIVE for human enjoyment -_-. Its discusting an anouther blow to our already fragile hobby which as it stands is under alota scrutiany atm from all angles.
I think i've gotten called everything in the book from a hypocrit to an idiot for protesting an trying to get this guys videos removed because of what they promote.
Whats gotten into the younger an even some of the older generations of keepers that this has become accepted!

YouTube exists so that ANYBODY can post ANYTHING.
Instant fame!
I do not watch snake videos on YouTube.
I imagine that I am missing some wonderful stuff.
But I also get to avoid all of the stupid things like this without even really trying.
Are you going to be able to change this guy's mind about what he is doing?
Absolutely not!
Just look at all the hits he is getting!
He is Internet famous!
Just absolutely wrong!

I frakly have not the slightest idea how You Tube decides what to pull and what to allow. I posted a video of me feeding a pre-killed mouse pink to a starving baby copperhead and after several months with thousands of views and no complaints to speak of, they pulled it saying they'd gotten several complaints about animal cruelty. I have no idea whether they meant to the snake or the dead mouse, and couldn't get a non-automated response.
But videos of people beating snakes to death with sticks or shooting them with a machinegun stand?

Its bad i gota admit the number of idiots which post on there, at the time time there are a few decent ones but people this this guy -_- its sad. Whats Sadder though is the number of people who support what hes doing -_- an that honestly i think is worse then anything. When you try an show some proper husbandry etc. You get flamed an all that but idiots like this get support! It reflects what our hobby is comming down to sadly. The new generations that don;t care for anything but the blood sport, these are the kids that will get bored an get rid of tehir reptiles some hopefuly responcibly others in less then favorable ways.
Youtube is now owned by Googel so what can you expect as far as quality etc goes. I mean we have 4 computers in this house, I can do a Googel search on the exact same topic an get completly diffrent pages on every pc. It makes you wonder though if they even look at the videos that are posted...

The only YouTube videos I watch are Al Cortiz's (ViperKeeper on YouTube).
There seems to be some great stuff on his videos. If a person watches closely he can learn stuff, especially if he/she is a beginner or novice.
I'm not saying that Al is a novice, I'm just saying that when you are looking at it as a novice you can learn more than if you are an expert keeper or have been keeping for a while.

I love watching Al's vids an infact have used them before for refrences when I have had an issue with one of my hots an hes had something similar with one of his just the lil ideas anw hat not that get you threw problems ^^. No doubt Al has one of the beter channels there.
