One thing I do know is snake eggs are fragile in the temps they can stand.You can not hatch them at the temps croc eggs hatch at too hot.So you would have a narrow margin of error.Birth defects pattern distortment among other defects will be present at high temps.In the 80s people were trying all kinds of stuff.I dont have many egg layers but from now on I will keep data.but I will ony hatch in the lower 80s or higher 70s.

I completely agree that more testing would have to be done to prove this. I just think the fact that the ratios of males to females changing with the temperature was kind of interesting. In addition, the fact that every time in those few tests, more males produced with higher temps and more females with lower temps. Again, nothing to put into publication but I think the preliminary results show some promise and it should definitely be looked into more. If I breed any snakes this year I'll definitely keep track of everything.
