I would like to find out, just how many venomous snake handlers, get bit. The old saying ride the bull get the horn. do'es have truth to it. I have been under fire here for a long time now.And I don't mind. becouse to me it is just good advice. And I am allwas looking for that. so can anyone tell me about how long thay have been in the venomous snake trade and how many times thay got tagged. Yes I have been tagged to much. and I am larning fast. so please all. tell me some storys to go by. Thanks for all the advice so far. sincerly Fabian Ihrke. (Spanky)

I brought home my first venomous snake in 1976 after 12 years of nonvenomous handling. As of 29 March 2003, I have not been bitten by a venomous snake.

Caught my first ven at 13. I am 35 and my only experience with fangs was a knick on the knuckle from A. c. contortrix. Mild swelling, sore finger, no ill effects. Virtually a dry bite.

Is there no handlers out there that have got tagged by there venomous snakes.???? how about some feed back.
