I just wanted to remind our central Texas people that Randall Berry's San Antonio Snake Show with Hots is this weekend.

Now I'm on the spot. I really should have taken notes. Not as many vendors as when the economy is good, but still a goood show. I was there the first day when it opened because if there were deals to be had, I didn't want to miss them like I have in the past.
Glades table was real busy and hard to get into. They had a nice selection of Cobras amongst a large quanity of very intense snakes. Gila Ranch had lots of lizards. Major money. Another guy was there that had tree vipers. Not Squams, but looked a little like them. I forget their names. They had the usual contingency of people who had bugs. I don't even go near those tables. But alot of people did, the bug tables were as crowded as the hot tables.
They had Bearded Dragons, huge 12" chameleons for $125., Tortoises, Ball Pythons by the gross and mutant Boas for $1200.
I wanted to get a cage that I could put in the living room and have it look like furniture. I found it. A cabinet maker was there with some creations and I bought one unit that was 3 cages tall. I'm going to load it with Klauberi. I just hope it does'nt tip over. It's about 6 and 1/2 feet tall.
My wife proof read this post before posting and insists that I share with eveyone that she bought 3 Hermit Crabs. She's happier than a pig in a mud puddle.
Anyways, that's pretty much it. As usual, it was worth the time and money to be there.

Indeed it was a decent show, people were actually spending money.
Blain, I think I can place you. The enclosure you bought, were you talking to Tim Cole about it? I was chatting with Tim as you came up.
Unfortunately, money is tight right now so I didn't buy much. I did trade off a few things and went home with a nice pair of Vipera Gregorwallerni and I was surprised with a gift of a gorgeous little female T. wagleri.
Next show in August my latest round of mangroves should be hatched and feeding so I will most likely be on the other side of the table for an afternoon.
