Ive always been apprehensive about ventilation holes on containers holding snakes. Never actually heard of someone getting tagged that way, but always seemed likely to me.

I enjoyed the show. Purchased a few rattlesnakes to add to my collection. It was great seeing everyone. I will agree with what others have said though......It was a lot more looking than buying. I'm sure november will be better.

I enjoyed seeing everybody at the show. I will add to what others are saying about not much being sold. I escorted Saturday and most of Sunday and the VAST majority of what I took out, I would guess about 50 or more, was 40$ and less snakes. Looking forward to the fall show.

I thought it was a great show. I picked up an albino monocled, dusky pygmy, Rhino, and a gabby. Wish there were less ball python morphs. And not a single person there was selling hooks. Oh well. It was a great show. Thanks everyone

For whatever reason the escort table got asked at least 10 times for tongs and at least that many times for hooks. I have made a few good hooks and I will make a few more and have some at the fall show just in case. The hooks I did see that were for sale were bamboo shoots with a hook attached and some field hooks. Not the usually vendors selling hooks.

I had about 15 hooks and a few pair of tongs out in my truck, but I did not bring them in, as there was just not much room to display them.
I did not have my own table this time, and Dr. Bob let me use part of his table to try to sell the pair of albino Eastern Diamonbacked Rattlesnakes. Those durn 6 foot tables at Columbia leave little room to spare.
I will have a table at the Atlanta Show in August where I will be selling my hooks and tongs, and will have a Web Site very soon where I will be selling them online. I will also have a table at the November Columbia Show, and will be selling hooks and tongs then.
Hope some of you who missed out on hooks at this last show will still be in the market for them.
Best Regards
John Z

Personally I'm really glad that I got some time off to go to this one! Picked up some new Carolina Pygmies, my favorite, to add to my ever-growing collection, with one being an anery (wooohooo)! Here's a hint for vendors, bring reasonably priced Carolina Pygmies, and you'll make bank off of me alone! Not to mention the potential $$$ made off of some of my other friends, lol! Would also like to see more of the "hard to come by".... I'm already looking forward to the November show!
