I was wonderig how i can become a venom extractor. It has been a life long dream and i would appreciate any help you could give. Thank you

It can be done. There are at least 3 people who have succeeded at it in the US. The prize goes to those who are most resourceful. But no one is going to hand that career to you on a silver platter by saying, "Here, this is what you have to do."
Most of the people who are currently on the "Snake Wranglers" series on the National Geographic channel have college degrees that allow them to work with snakes. I'd say that's the best and most reliable place to start.

thank you for your input. I will be starting school in the fall and i also just leared it is legal to purchase venomous herps in NC. (except certain ones i know them but wont bother listing them off) I plan to start with copperheads and also it is my dream spanky. I don't care if i die poor i just want to do something i love. Thank you.

Well I don't have a degree yet, but I have spent the last year e-mailing calling and just asking, about selling venom. U.S.A. Africa, etc. and they all say after selling venom for years, they even have trouble selling theres at times. You have to have a lab, ntrogen freezers, etc. Spider venom is another thing I looked into, agian hard to find a buyer for. Anyway Good luck. Spanky
