i am trying to find a site to purchase field guides for all continenents, except antarctica, on reptiles and amphibians. i am beginning an extensive study on all known venomous snakes, and would like to find field guides that have illustrations, information, description of venom, etc. of all known species of venomous snakes in the world, including sea snakes. if you could please point me in the right direction. thank you.

Try Zoobook Sales in Excelsior,Minnesota. Last I looked, they had over 659 books about Reptiles & Amphibians!

It will take multiple books to fill this need. Some good ones to start with are: All of the Peterson Field Guides regarding snakes and "Living snakes of the world in color" by Mehrtens. Mark O'Shea also has a good one on "The Snakes of Papua New Guinea" that you should have a look at.
