I posted in the classifieds that the show sucked but it was deleted I guess. I was just letting everone know that does not have a chance to attend that they did not miss anything. I got several emails from other people who were disappointed also. Was there a reason for the deletion? or was it just in the wrong spot? I know alot of people who visit the site that only check the classifieds so that is why I put it there. It seems in this hobby/business any more there are alot of people who know everything and not many beginners you would think there would be more shows on the animal planet about snakes, venomous anyway, as many PROS as I have seen and delt with here in Pa. anyway. Well just thought I would ask why it was deleted.

It just depends on your expectatios from the show. I picked up an awesome Bothrops Atrox and a couple spitters, so i was very pleased. I use the show as a resource to many snakes, without paying the shipping and a chance to see many snakes for the first time.All it's meant to be is one big reptile flea market and a good one at that!!!!!!

I didn't delete your post but I have seen that there have been several abuses of the Classifieds Section lately.
Basically, if it is not an ad (for sale or trade), it does not belong in the classifieds section.
If it is letting someone know something, then it definitely belongs here.
If people only check the classifieds, then they are choosing to miss out on the information in the other areas of the site. That is their choice.
I can say without a doubt, that deleting your post had absolutely nothing to do with your view of the show. Feedback to other herpers regarding shows is welcomed but should be posted here.

I thoroughly enjoyed the show!
I worked 2 tables and business was very good. The volume of people that walked through the doors was great.
I negotiated several deals for animals that were well below the asking price of the vendors.
To sum it up I couldn't have asked for a better event.
Just out of curiosity, What are you so displeased about? You aren't by chance the fellow who got upset with me for not lowering the price on the Red Pygmys are you LOL?

Wouldn't miss Hamburg for the world and we had better enjoy these events while we can, because the local Governments will soon take them away. Jon-boy

hey buzz I agree I wasnt thinking about putting it here I will remember next time. As for the pygmies I wasnt the guy but I wish I would have seen them I would have paid what you wanted most likely. It was so crowded with people just looking at the hots those of us who wanted to buy did not see alot of them venders should notice that and make the rows wider or something. The price of some of the stuff is what I was disappointed with but I will go back I agree they will stop these shows before long. I stood behind a young boy around 21 or so as a vender told him he would be better buying a east african green mamba rather than a puff adder and the boy hearing the puff adder puff seemed to believe him. That is the sort of thing that will end our hobby all together they need to work on the law alittle in Pa. to keep beginners safe from dealers like that.
