I hooked my own thermostats up to my AC and heater so that i could place them on the other side of the room to maintain constant temps throught the room...when i used the ones on the heater and AC it only maintained the proper temp of the room on the side the heater and AC were on leaving the other side cooler....by being able to move the thermostat i could play around with them until i got temps all over that i was satisfied with....

I had that problem of one side of the room being a little warmer/cooler than the other too. A cheap Walmart ceiling fan fixed the problem. Take care, Marty
