COPPERHEADS CAN BE KEPT SAFELY TOGETHER, AND I'VE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THIS. COTTONMOUTHS ON THE OTHER HAND, HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO TURN CANNIBAL, ALTHOUGH I'VE KEPT NEWBORNS TOGETHER JUST FINE. THE CHOICE IS YOURS, JUST KEEP AN EYE ON THE PISCIVOROUS.

Both are known to be extreamly canibilistic and neither sp should be kept together unless you are trying to breed them. Then it should only be for a short term!
Though as was stated above, people get away with keeping cooppers and even cottons together, it just isnt worth the risk to the snake and more importantly to your self! If any food sent lingers in the cage you are setting the stage for an acident and the situation should best be avoided.

I have a pair together now, hoping that they might breed. Female cotton- male copper. What an awesome offspring that would be, it's worth it to me. Both are dime a dozen
