I haven't had the meeting with him yet. I did however call to speak with him but he was not in. Left a voice message for him to call me back.
I feel that maybe the best direction to take this is through email exchange with him
That way the is no ASSUMING on what was said. There will be written proof.

Exactly right thing to do, Cathy.
We need his views of the proposed Law in Writing.
That way, when he retires and is replaced by someone who might view the Law differently, we will have set a president in advance.
