I've only did them once though friends have done them a number of times. It seems that multiple males are a key as some have zero interest in breeding. But some males are interested in nothing else, as a friend got rid of his westerns because they were constantly breeding and having TOO MANY babies !! Good luck - I hope you have the same 'problem' he did .

Chris, Thank you for your repply. I have been keeping elapids for a few years now, But have never done any breeding. though I am thinking of starting a breeding project. My time is not what I would like it to be for my snakes. I work alot. But I have made some time to write some papers in the last year. I hope to have them out soon. I had a friend tell me about your site, And I must say (keep up the great work) Thanks to all of you at SHHS. Russell
