Ok a few you know my burm had and RI and the tylan 50 is working great so far. I have been treating her with it since monday. Well now its friday and I gave her the shot of 1 ml like I have been. The angle is less than 45 but more than 25 I guesstimate and about 1/2 inch of needle going in, but this time she developed a lump. Its not hard or anything, you push it in no problem and it feels mushy. Its not an air pocket I can feel that but I havent had any problems all week. Is this a reaction? And if it is, is this normal? Has anyone had this happen before with any other snakes? Any input would be great. The vet is closed until monday.

Give it a bit of time.
Could be that the medication was injected into something like fat tissue that it would be slow to be absorbed from.
It is also possible that it was some sort of reaction to the medication.
Really difficult to say for sure.
Keep an eye on the area of the lump and see what it does.
Best Regards

It has gotten smaller in the last hour or two. I was really freaking out before. I think it will be ok since it is going away. Your probably right. If it was a reaction I would assume it would get worse. Sorry for the inexperience on this but havenet had to do this before.
Thanks
