Doug is right, there is really not enough information at this time to draw a conclusion.
Perhaps the snakes were all fine, and the guy went out of town for a few days, and the Air Conditioning broke down ? That could rapidly overheat and kill a garage full of snakes.
And perhaps a virus rapidly infected all of the snakes, and the guy was overwhelmed not knowing what to do ?
He had purchased a large number of containers & water bowls, so, it would seem there was some care for the animals at one time.
Or, the guy could just be a uncaring jerk.
I find it interesting that a lot of folks on FaceBook are saying that the guy should be shot, or starved, or maimed, etc. Perhaps that is the case, but, we should find out what really happened before we jump to conclusions.
Best Regards

"Liquefied" reminds me of that story a couple of years back when they caught that guy in N GA that wasn't cremating bodies. The authorities found cement septic tanks full of liquefied human remains. One sheriff deputy referred to it as "human soup". Imagine the stench. The thought makes ya want to hurl. But I agree, there's not enough facts yet, although it don't look good. If it was just pure negligence, I hope they throw the max alowed at him. Take care, Marty

mmmmmm human soup.
I always wondered what it would be like to work out at the body farm in Tennessee. The scientist in me says "hey neato". The common sense part of me says "perhaps not". Historically I have never really paid much attention to the common sense part of my brain.
ROAD TRIP!!!!

Doug, let me know when you plan to visit the body farm.
I would like to see that also. Probably would be very interesting, as long as you did not do the tour right after lunch, or, on a really hot summer day, LOL.

Do they really let people tour the farm? That would be interesting. I just assumed they wouldn't let us "civilians" in there. Take care, Marty

Not sure how it is now but I believe medical staff and law enforcement were the only ones allowed in. May have changed a bit that was along time ago.
