I was severly bitten by a Prarie Rattler in 2004. Required major surgery. I have heard many things about getting bit again. Everything from I'm now immune to the venom to it will easily kill me. Your thoughts?

No immunity. No certain death.
Your biggest risk is allowing the doctors to do surgery on you again.

I have had faciotomy a few times and I would bet only one time was it needed.Luckily the advancement of treatment is becoming more common. You would be amazed exactly what the human body can take and recover.I still have full use of my hands less a finger.I have scene some botched up cut jobs from the expert Drs in my time. The truth there are not many Drs who are experts at treating snake bite.I have had a friend who they cut up so bad he can barly use his arm.Best bet get to a hospital and say no cutting.Only if that they have proof that the circulation is shut off should decompression be used.
