Have you tried fish yet? I've only had one young Green Anaconda, and it would eat nothing but fish, sort of like an odd-colored Brown Water Snake. I tried to get it to take mice or small rats by scenting them with fish, since that usually works well with most Nerodia or Thamnophis, but this guy didn't fall for it. I ended up giving him to someone who had more time on their hands than I did, and they did eventually get him switched over to rodents. They said it was like a switch went on in his little brain one day, saying, "hey, I'm supposed to EAT these furry things". Most young wild-caught Anacondas, though, seem to prefer aquatic things like fish or frogs.

Yup. Neonate anacondas are big-time fish eaters.
All that I have raised in the past started well on fish or amphibians.

Thanks guys! I actually just got off of the phone w/ a friend and he told me the same. I know that these little ones spend more time in the water than the adults, so that should have been obvious :S. Now, do you think that eventually scenting them will work? Also, did you have a CB?

No, mine was WC. Back then, I don't think that there WAS such a thing as a CB Anaconda; I mean, there was hardly any such thing as a CB BALL PYTHON, let alone all the crazy morphs they have now!
By the way, DO NOT feed goldfish or catfish! If you can get 'em, try to find a fish farm that has Tilapia(easy enough where I live since fish farms are pretty common). If you can, try some strips of fresh salmon, trout or tilapia from the supermarket(make sure it was not frozen), since my Water Snakes go nuts over those.

Do a few fish first to get them rolling. Then, yes, you can scent the food. I raised three broods, all captive bred and born.
