This is a message we need to get out and put pressure on the folk that are accountable for this type of Nazi raids. This is from Colette Adams: Curator of the Gladys Porter Zoo, Highly respected in the professional reptile circles. You would be hard pressed to meet a nicer person too.

Hi all,
Above you will find the contact information for the mayor of Milwaukee. He should be inundated with emails asking him what action he intends to take to in dealing with city employees who insisted upon killing the two dogs during the course of the investigation involving Terry Cullen. The fact that there was no emergency and animal control could have handled the dogs makes their actions inexcusable.
Further, it wouldn't hurt to express outrage over the fact that this saga has gone on for a week, and no questions have been answered about why such extreme measures were taken against aperson who has not been charged with any crime.
Izzy, please circulate this. I hope that all private herp folks know that this could happen to them. As far as we know, any charges against Jane have been dropped, the investigation suspended and there are no charges currently pending on Terry. I spoke with Rob Carmichael tonight and he said that some of the cages were dirty, but by and large, Terry's animals were in pretty good shape. That will help Terry down the line.
I got word this evening that all of the animals are in two city warehouses. The zoos that were involved in moving the critters do not have them in their possession. According to Terry, his attorney contacted the DA's office, and they supposedly have no info on what this is all about.
Terry is planning on making a statement tonight. At least, that is what his plan was as of 4:00 pm CST.
Wish him well, take a little action. Elected officials need to know we are watching! I just posted something on the Fox 6 news site. You canpost something there as well. . . Go to http://www.topix.net/forum/source/fox6/T68BV4E5VCKVTCB2V#lastPost
For those people who are willing to attest to Terry's incredible expertise and dedication as far as crocs and other herps are concerned, I think we should ask Terry to question his attorney as to where such statements should be sent.
Thanks!
colette

This is all terrible and so sad. What was the reason for the raid in the first place, or was there a reason?
The only thing authorities will achieve by being this brutal is to garner public sympathy for reptile owners... hopefully.

Terfry is a top-notch person. His work in the realm of crocodilian conservation is more than commendable. I have known Terry for 15 years and have never heard anything but positives. I have also been to his place and ALL of his animals were extremely well cared for.
