I was reading that a tiger rattlesnake has extremely toxic venom, but little yield. It's venom is compared to the mojave. It is said to be not life threating to humans because of it's little yield, but 1 drop of mojave venom can kill quickly. Now I know it has more than 1 drop of venom in those glands, so how does it compare to the Mojave? Do you understand what I am trying to say??? Thanks Grey

The five most powerful Crotalus venoms are the Mojave's (C.s.scutulatus), the South/Central American's (C.d.terrificus and C.d.durissus), San Lucan Speckled's (C.m.mitchelli) and the Tiger's (C.tigris). Of the lowest of this group in yield is the Tiger's, and in fact it is one of the lowest yields of almost any rattlesnake, not just the neurotoxic ones. Drops are kind of an ambiguous measurement and yield is usually measured in dried milligrams. While a bite might not have enough venom to kill you , keep in mind all it takes is a tiny amount of neurotoxins to really mess you up like paralysis. Hope this helps to answer your question.
