Happy Memorial Day everyone,
A colleague and friend, Dr. Andrew Kitchener, Principal Curator of Vertebrates at the National Museums Scotland, is in need of frozen specimens of the following for an exhibit they are constructing showing the many amazing adaptations of herps. I know this is a stretch but I'm just putting the word out in case anything is available. I'm going to handle the logistics of shipping to Scotland as I've done it in the past so let me know if you have any of the following:
Flying lizard, Draco sp.
Flying gecko, Ptychozoon sp.
Leaf-tailed gecko, Uroplatus sp.
Basilisk, Basilsicus plumifrons or similar species
Green tree python, Morelia viridis – need larger specimen
Flying snake, Chrysopelea paradisi or pelias
Sidewinder (viper or rattlesnake), Crotalus cerastes or Cerastes cerastes
Spitting cobra, Naja sp. – any species
Thanks, Rob

I don't have any of the species you mentioned, but I do have frozen necropsied specimens of B. Constrictor imperator and smooth front caiman (P. trigonatus). If those would be of any use to you please let me know and I'd be happy to send them.
Best of luck,
Luke

Thanks Luke,
He's pretty specific as to what they are looking for but I appreciate you stepping up and offering these specimens.
