Hatching king snake eggs

I had a king snake lay 10 eggs, on June 28th. I have never hatcked snake eggs before, but I put them in moist sawdust, in a small plastic reptile box. and have keeped them between 80* and 90* am I doing anything wroung? Thanks Russ

I hope your sawdust isn't pine. I would put them in vermiculite, you can get it at most Wal-Marts or a plant supply store. I use 1:1 water:vermiculite by weight. I incubate my eggs at 82-84F. Hatching time is usually 72-75 days. Are your eggs still round and firm, If they have started to dimple deeply or become discolored your sawdust may have done them in. Hope this helps.
