Hey guys, My parents have said that they would help me pay for a trip to study abroad for a month or so but all of the opportunities that are being offered with my college are politically focused and not in my line of interest. So I am looking into places that I may be able to get an internship with. I was wondering if you could point me towards any good candidates. Something like a foreign venom lab or a group of scientists doing field research that would not mind some extra help. I was thinking an shooting an email to BGF and I hear there is a serpentarium in Costa Rica or maybe one of the Save the Frogs stations.

Internships will not allow you to actually handle venomous snakes, especially at a venom lab. It's an insurance thing.
If you happen to be on facebook, link up to The Want Ad(ders). I will begin posting internships there as well. (next day or so)

I don't mind doing grunt work- I understand that is what interns are for... I just want the chance to experience working in the field and/ or lab to better understand what is required.
