I still cant bring myself to believe this. He was an inspiration to all of us and this marks a very sad day for the herp communitiy.
I give my most sincere condolences to his family.
We lost a legend.

WOW... I remember when I was a kid watching shows and documentaries on the Discovery channel (back when it was actually educational) about Bill Haast. Those were the first moments I remember being interested in venomous snakes.
He has certainly been an inspiration to me and many others. He will be greatly missed in our community.
RIP Mr. Haast and thank you for sharing your love of these animals with all of us.

One of the greatest men I ever had the honor to meet. He will truly be missed. His teachings shall live on through all of us. God rest his soul. Few mens presence demand respect these days. That number just got smaller.

Mr. Haast was the luckiest man on the face of the earth. I have to ask, did he record his secret recipe for tube feeding in a way future generations can use it?
