a little more information might provide some insight as to how someone might reply... such as: What species of "tree viper" are we discussing? How old are the snakes? What is their overall condition? How do you have them set up? Have you attempted to feed them, and if so, have any of them eaten anything yet? If any of them have eaten, have they regurgitated the food? What are your skill levels, and how familiar are you with dosages for treating internal parasites? Have you had a fecal sample examined to determine *if* there are internal parasites to medicate for?
You know.... stuff like that.
It is MUCH easier and MUCH more appealing for someone to answer a post when there is *something* to go on.
Since I know nothing about the snakes... where they came from or what kind of physical condition they are in, you get a generic answer: Keep them VERY well hydrated and not too warm. Offer food at dusk, preferably a small item when compared to the body size of the snake... maybe a fuzzie... and do not disturb them mush for a couple of weeks. I tape newspaper over the front of the cages of newly acquired snakes, wild caught ones that is, so as not to make the snake mental..... Take a fecal sample to the vet and ask them to check it for worms and protozoans... treat according to what you find, not what someone tells you they think you should do.....

It makes me wonder why "TomT" is being such an unreasonable ASS when it comes to answering this guys question. The idea of this page is so that we can all help each other. perhaps you could have been a bit more polite
