On this show they do a stunt where a guy crawls into a sleeping bag with about 20 diamondbacks; do these snakes not strike because they're desensitized because of the den-like conditions with all the other snakes moving around or are the viewers being hoodwinked in some way?

Most of them have been in captivity for awhile without food and water so they are sick and weak.
Those of us that have worked with healthy atrox can spot that quickly.
