I have posted a new profile picture of a snake I have had for a while and me not knowing what it is is killing me.
It has the build of a banded cat-eyed snake but the color/pattern of Boiga irregularis. Yet its behavior/ temperament is the polar opposite of what the brown tree snakes are known for (thus the free handle). Its a very slow mover and literally doesn't strike. Just reaches out and grabs the prey like it has all the time in the world.
It will not eat anything (including other lizards) other than anoles. Its right now a little bigger than 3 ft and no bigger around than a pencil. If anyone can help me I.D. it that would be appreciated.
Thanks
JT

My vote if for some species of Boiga? Brown tree snakes have been illegal for years. There are some forum members who keep several different species of Boiga and hopefully they will chime in.
