I think you meant "kook". A "cook" is someone who prepares food.
I mention this, not to annoy you, but so everyone might imagine how much funnier the sentence was in my head when I thought for a second that you had misspelled a different word...which shall be left as an exercise for the reader...

Now Larry, if Austin Stevens should pass away (God forbid!), I will misspell the other word for you.
What can I say I was tired and for all I know, maybe Esteban was handy in the kitchen.

Also Joeseph Slowinski's death was 11 years ago Wednsday and Karl Schmidt died on the 27th, 55 years ago. In fact September has been a pretty crappy month for herpetologists.
