Hello I am looking to find a doctor close to my area that will aid in antivenom acquisition. I am in the Cincinnati, OH area. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Are you considering storing your own?
If so, it is extremely expensive and has a relatively short storage life. Here is the number you need to keep handy in case of envenomation. They will send antivenom anywhere in the U.S. if requested by a hospital.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue
Venom Response Unit:
Phone Number: (786)336-6600
Antivenom will be sent immediately to your location.

If you're thinking about CroFab, don't bother. You would need 20 vials minimum at $3000/per. Hospitals normally stock it anyway.
If you're keeping exotics, then go see a MD you've seen before and establish a relationship with them. I doubt you will find (due to them being on the hook for signing the paperwork)a MD out of the "blue" willing to sign.

Sometime you don't have the time, depending on what you're keeping, to depend on MDFR to save your ass. It would take at minimum 4 hours to get A/V from them somewhere else in the USA.
